Afrocentric Discovery App - Refund Policy

Afrocentric Global (“Afrocentric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) strives to ensure a satisfactory experience for all users of the Afrocentric Discovery App (the “App”). This Refund Policy explains the terms under which users may be eligible for refunds related to paid services, subscriptions, and other charges within the App.
1. General Policy
Refunds are only issued in specific cases outlined below. By making any purchase on the App, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy. Afrocentric reserves the right to deny refunds if we find evidence of policy abuse or violation of our Terms of Use.
2. Eligible Refunds

Subscription Services:
- Monthly and Annual Subscriptions: Users may request a refund within 24 hours of the initial subscription purchase if no content or premium feature has been accessed. If access has been initiated, refunds will not be provided.
- Automatic Renewals: Refunds will not be issued for charges resulting from the auto-renewal of monthly or annual subscriptions. Users are responsible for canceling subscriptions before the renewal date.

Premium Content Purchases:
- Refunds for premium or on-demand content are not generally available once the content has been accessed or downloaded.
- If a purchased content item is found to be defective or unviewable, users may be eligible for a replacement or credit toward another purchase upon verification.

Hiring and Payment Disputes:
- Payments for hiring services made through the App are final and non-refundable. Afrocentric encourages users to communicate with talent and confirm all details before completing transactions.
- If there is a service-related dispute, users may report the issue for review. Afrocentric will assess the claim and take appropriate action if warranted, but refunds are not guaranteed. If service is not rendered by talent, we'll offer 90% refund after charging 10% admin fee!
3. Points and In-App Currency
Points or in-app currency accumulated through the App have no monetary value and are non-refundable. Points cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded if not used or if the account is terminated.
4. Technical Issues
If you are unable to access purchased content or features due to a technical issue, please contact our Support Team at [hello@theafrocentric.com] within 3 days of the issue. We will attempt to resolve the issue, and if unable to do so, a refund or credit may be issued at our discretion.
5. Refund Process
- Request Submission: To request a refund, email our Support Team at hello@theafrocentric.com with the purchase details, reason for the request, and any relevant documentation.
- Review and Processing: Refund requests will be reviewed within 5-10 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-30 business days, depending on your payment method.
6. Non-Refundable Items
- Application fees, points purchases, administrative fees, and any other non-consumable or non-renewable digital items are non-refundable once purchased.
- Refunds will not be issued for payments made outside of the App, regardless of the transaction’s nature.
7. Abuse of Refund Policy
Any fraudulent activity or abuse of the Refund Policy, such as repeated refund requests without valid cause, may result in the suspension or termination of the user’s account and a restriction from future refunds.
8. Policy Updates
Afrocentric reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
