Afrocentric empowers users with tools for professional growth, academic collaboration, influence-building, and financial empowerment through memberships, premium content, and gig opportunities.

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Afrocentric platform (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Afrocentric”).

By registering for, accessing, or using the platform (including mobile or web applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

To use Afrocentric: You must be at least 16 years old or meet the minimum legal age in your country.

If under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

You must provide accurate, truthful, and updated personal information when registering.

2. Platform Overview

Social Networking: Build your profile, gain followers, and grow your influence.

Career Development: Access resources, mentorships, training, and job opportunities.

Remote Internships: Apply to our structured programs and receive monthly appraisals and certification.

Department of Students Efficiency (DSE): Collaborate in academic and student-led initiatives to enhance learning and career readiness.

Premium Content and Marketplace: Earn from paid content, sell freelance services, and connect with clients.

Free & Premium Memberships:

Free Membership: Basic networking, internship or DSE and access to community content.

Premium Membership includes: Internship Certification, DSE Certification, Access to zero-interest personal & business loans, Access to paid gigs and premium tools, Exclusive influencer dashboard and earnings platfor

3. User Conduct

You agree to: Use Afrocentric for legal, ethical, and constructive purposes.

Treat others respectfully, without discrimination, hate, or harassment.

Not impersonate any person or entity.

Not post false, harmful, or misleading information.

Not upload or share copyrighted or illegal content.

Afrocentric reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or breach of security.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account.

5. Payments, Earnings & Subscriptions:

Premium Memberships are subscription-based and billed monthly or annually.

Earnings from content, gigs, or marketplace sales will be disbursed to your registered payment method, subject to verification.

Users must not engage in fraudulent earnings, click-bait, or misleading monetization strategies.

Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Internships & Certifications

Remote internships are structured with monthly performance assessments.

Certificates are awarded based on full participation and evaluation reports.

Afrocentric reserves the right to withhold certification for misconduct, plagiarism, or failure to meet program standards.

7. Zero-Interest Loans (Premium Feature)

Premium members are eligible to apply for zero-interest personal or business loans.

Eligibility is subject to verification, consistent savings activity, and participation on the platform.

Afrocentric reserves the right to approve or deny loans based on internal criteria.

8. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

We detect suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

You request account deletion.

Termination results in loss of access to all services, earnings, and benefits.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including logos, graphics, modules, and designs, are the property of Afrocentric or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce content without explicit permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Afrocentric is provided "as-is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data accuracy, or earnings. We are not liable for:

Data loss, Earnings loss, Personal disputes or damages resulting from use of the platform

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or dashboard notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and any applicable international regulations.
